Project Overview :
This Encino condominium slab leak repair project involved a broken plumbing line beneath the interior concrete floor. After confirming the leak location, the slab was carefully opened to expose and access the damaged pipe without compromising surrounding structural integrity.
Scope of Work
-Interior concrete slab demolition to access leak
-Exposure of damaged pipe plumbing line and repair coordination
-Soil inspection and evaluation prior to restoration
-Installation of vapor barrier
-Rebar dowels drilled and epoxied into existing slab for structural tie-in
-Deputy inspection required for structural reinforcement approval.
-Concrete slab rebuild and finish
-Structural restoration of the affected area
Outcome
The plumbing failure was corrected and concrete slab was structurally rebuilt, in compliance with inspection requirements. With proper soil verification, vapor barrier installation, and reinforced tie-in to the existing foundation, the restored concrete floor re-established full structural integrity and prepared the unit for final finishes.
